Tuesday's Mirror Image?

Hey Scriblets! That has such a nice ring to it, "Scriblets" it sounds like mini Scribble readers. It's kind of cute ^_^ Anywho, today is Creative Tuesday! WOOHOO!!!! You know what that means, you're about to read an awesome short story or poem!

This week features a really cool poem by Clarity (a really awesome YWSer). Enjoy!

You're All Mine Now! MUHAHAHAA!

Hey Scriblets! Did you miss me? Hey, stop with the hating, I know you did! Well hopefully Malachi told you all that I went to Las Vegas, Nevada! No, we didn't gamble, it was purely an educational trip. So I got back last Friday and let me tell you, jet lag is a thing and it's not a fun thing >.< I'm still stuck in PST instead of EST.

So Malachi is going to be gone all week, he's gone off to summer camp! So you're all mine! MUAHAHAHHA!!!!! Isn't it lovely how this worked out? Malachi and I have weeks to ourselves back to back? I think that actually worked out pretty well.

So, what to write about? Hmm... Well Malachi wrote a short story, so maybe I could do something similar? ;)

Friday: Time To Snooze

It's Friday! Can you believe it? The week sure seems to fly by extremely fast to me. Anyways Scribblets, since it is Friday, that means I'm here to answer questions. It feels strange doing it without Sarah, but here goes!

1.) What is your favorite piece of furniture in your bedroom?

Umm ... is there a question here, or is it a joke. IT'S MY BED PEOPLE. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? In all honesty though, excluding my bed, which I would love to give a visit just a out now, I think that having a rocking chair, stool, or some form of sitting furniture is always nice. I had a built in desk at one point as well, and being a writer, that was pretty cool! And if Sarah were here she would say it is her bed. ;)

And that is it. :( Hey we love to here your questions, so be sure to send them in! Keep them coming, and remember that these questions can be about aaaaanything. It doesn't have to be about Scribbles, or even writing!

But since we didn't have anymore questions, my job here is done! Have a fantastic weekend, and if you live in the USA go blow something up with fireworks and stuff your face with yummy food! Happy Independence Day!! Also, next week Sarah will be back and I will be gone stop cheering you know you love me. Come July 13th we'll finally be back in action together! Until then, adios :)

Thursday Fandom: Gaston vs. Captin Hook

Welcome to Thursday's post! Since so many of our Scribbleters love Disney, I thought I'd bring you another fandom battle, but this time between villains instead of sidekicks and heroes!! After all, what's a good story without an evil, scheming bad guy!?!?

Fandom #1. Gaston
There is so much to say about this guy. He's got looks: he's brawny, tall, well-toned. He's got a nice mop of hair, a broad smile. But despite all that, he's cunning, scheming, evil to the core. He uses people and situations to subject Belle and her father through manipulation or brute force. Although Belle refuses him at first, in the end it takes the mighty Beast to take him down. But even in his final moments he's still deep down a ruthless killer. Not to mention he's a great shot, can lift heavy stuff, climb well, beat you in just about ANYTHING you go up to him against, but even so, his ugliness can't win Belle's love. interesting considering she marries a beast, I guess it's more about the love then the looks.

Fandom #2.

Are you looking to plunder, pillage, and altogether be a pirate? Then Captain Hook's crew is the spot! okay, not entirely. But while he isn't your typical pirate, you have to admit that he gives Peter Pan. He's a great swordfighter, a good captain who maintains a crew that absolutely obeys and respects him, not an asy thing to accomplish as a captain may I remind you, and he's got no second thoughts about killing. Even children. He's got the looks to. Know of anybody else who can pull off a moustache like that? He's also rich, equipped with all sorts of hooks including a gold one! To tap it off he's got his pirate ship, armed to the teeth with cannons and cutlasses! This is a pirate you don't want to mess with.

Well, it's a close competition in my mind, but I know who I'd go with. ;) But it's not my decision, it's yours!! So vote on this thing. Let's see if the brawny shooter or the fancy dueler comes out on top!!

A Follow Up Short Story: A Race For Life

As promised Malachi has a short story to accompany yesterday's. If you haven't read it yet, be sure to read it first! It makes more sense that way. :) Hopefully you are having a blast this summer, or winter, depending on where you are!! thanks for stopping by. Now, let's get to this story.
